I got a good look at Arran’s naked body as we bathed and redressed. Better than I had the previous day in the heat of the moment, at least, and I was fascinated. By everything. From the way his wings seemed to both erupt from his back and still somehow join seamlessly with the flesh. There appeared to be extra skin around the base of his wings, that pulled taught when he flexed them, similar to the extra flesh around a joint or knuckle, and when his wings relaxed, the flesh around them seemed thicker, more pronounced over his shoulderblades and upper spine. Not quite dimpled or wrinkled, but obviously thicker and more padded. And his shoulders to shoulderblades themselves seemed more pronounced.
