Gus was at the phone sitting comfortably on the couch when Ally got home, pushing her shoes off her feet, and walking up to where he sat. He smiled at her as he continued with his conversation and by the sound of it, Ally could tell he was talking to her mother in-law.
She curled down beside him, holding to his frame as he distractedly pecked her forehead.
-Tell her I said hi!- Ally mouthed to him, smiling and running a finger down his chest.
-Mom- Gus interrupted the conversation going on at the other side of the line- Ally says hi.
He became silent, listening intently and nodding at the faint sounds that reached Ally´s ears. A moment later, he looked down at her.
-Well, she says hi too, princess- he spoke as his hand went up and down her side, his finger trailing shapes all over her
