Gus nodded at Lauren with a knowing look, thanked the waitress while placing a hand on Ally´s back and gently guiding her out the door.
They all climbed hurriedly on the truck and Gus started driving as the last rays of sun died in the horizon.
Silence lingered in the cabin for a while, Lauren lost in her own thoughts and Gus keeping his eyes glued on the road.
-Where are we going?- Ally finally mumbled- What´s Chase´s bridge?
