Dane stepped forward, his eyes turning a pitch black that sent a chill through me. “Enough with the tantrums, Aurora,” he growled, his voice low and venomous. “If that’s what you think about us, fine. This is who we are, who we’ve always been—and you’re bound to accept it.”
