James gave me a look after marry went inside her office and I sank my face into my hands.. I gaze up on James, he was waiting for me to give an explanation of what just happened... instead of giving him explanation I grab a cookie & put in my mouth and gazing all around the cafe

except from James.

" are you not gonna tell me what just happened or you just keep ignore it" James said

I swallow the mouth full of cookie and said " you know she is old maybe she thought you were someone else it's just a misunderstanding"

" oh God please James believe me.. please" I thought in my mind

I grab another cookie and put in my mouth.

" okay if she thought am I someone else then why you ask for help" he said

I starts coughing and James gave me a glass of water and I gulp it, and said to James with a smile

" I think.... I should go now see ellie needs my help" as I was about to get up from my chair, James said" you are not going anywhere until you say the truth"

I sit back on the chair and clear my throat..

" okay listen I lied to marry that my friend is in hospital and he diagnosis with stage 3 cancer and I accidentally said your name so she thinks that was you, I'm sorry" I said

" why you lied to her if I asked you that so would answer me" he said

" I came late for work.... because of you

I said to him

he said with a narrow eyes" because of me but how"

I put my both arms on the table and lock my hands together..

" yeah it's because of you and I don't want to argue on that" I said with a fake smile

He didn't say anything just he keep staring into my eyes, so I asked him that what is he really doing here, and how he knows that where I work.

he said

" it's easy for me to know where you work and I'm here for your answer, and to drink coffee with you."

" oh damn I should know that he is a b****y rich guy it's easy for him to know that.. but how he got my phone number.. that's weird" I thought

" so you want my answer.. like right now" I said with wide open eyes

he said" yeah right now.."

I clear my throat and said " I need more time to think about it"

James doesn't look happy by my answer so he moves closer his face to my direction with burning eyes and said

" I'm not here to play your games, I need your answer right now"

I took a sip of coffee..

" okay fine if you want my answer right now, I gave you that. I accept your offer but I have some condition" I said

James Lean back on the chair and said

" I think you are not in a good position to make condition"

I gave him a smile..

" Clearly I'm in a good position right now because you came here to talk to me so...I mean you need me to work for you so bad.. if you not agree on my condition, I'll not work with you period" I said with confident

I gave him a smirk and he paused for a moment then he smiled and said

" I like it you are smart.. so tell me your condition I'll think about it"

" well then listen, if I find you an assistant

then I don't need to work with you for six months it's is my first condition, and my second condition is I gave mia as my job replacement.. I took a pause for a second... and last but not the least I want my office next to be your office" I said

James smile and said " why is that you need a office next to mine "

" because I like the view of your office and it's easy to communicate with you" I said

he didn't answer me

" if you think it's too much.. I can negotiate on condition number three ." I said

James get up from his chair and my heart starts pounding out of my chest.. I also gets up from my chair.

I mumble

" Did I say something wrong..oh fuck.. stupid lara"

James turn towards me and said

"I agree on your condition and it's a deal.. he offer his hand for hand shake but because me being me instead of hand shake I gave him a high five...

he was paying for coffee and I was gazing at him like a creepy stalker..

he smiled and said I'll meet you tomorrow at office, I nodded.. he walks towards the door and I was standing their for a brief moment then I remember I have to take ellie class..

I went to ellie and grab her arm pull her inside the restroom

" what are you doing Lara" she said

I crossed my arms and said

" what am I doing.. what were you doing there.. taking pictures with him"

" Relax Lara it's just a picture,why you are getting so mad... wait are you jealous" she said

" what! No no no.. how can you think of it" I said

she stairs at my face, I said why are you staring me like that. she took a pause and said " yup I can see on your face you are jealous"

I look my face in mirror and thought

" I don't see anything.. I'm not jealous..or am I jealous.. I look again closely.. no no no I'm not jealous"

" I don't see anything and I'm not jealous" I said.

I turn around and no one was there

" oh brilliant she makes me fool, why am I so dumb.. everyone makes me fool.. but aleast I win from James.. so now I just need a perfect assistant for James and then I'm free"

I washed my face and went outside for work
