I went upstairs and get changed, then grab my phone from bag and call Emily.

emily picks up the call and said..

" Hello Lara where have you been"

" Emily I wanted to cry so much" I said

" what! why.. I mean what happened"

I took a pause

" Mr rude... she cuts me off in the middle of sentence.. and said

" Don't! tell me, that he again annoyed you.. if he does I'll kill that bastard.. I swear"

" No no no... I mean yeah he annoyed me but this time it's my mistake.. I don't blame him" I said to her

" What did you do now burn his office.. she starts laughing I said Are you listening or not.. she replied " okay okay tell me I'm listening..

I clear my throat

" I try to make him fool but my plan backfired.. he is too smart.. and the main topic of this whole story is he offer me to be his assistant for 6 month and I want your advice on that.."

" What! I don't understand a single word" Emily said

" let me elaborate it. I went to office today and James fired his assistant. I need his signature on a notice so I make a stupid plan and drag sarah into it but the plan didn't work. James were very angry on me & sarah. I plead him to not fired sarah. he agreed on that but in return he wants me to be his assistant for 6 month."

" why he wants you to be his assistant" she said

" how I suppose to know that am I look a psychic to you" I said

" yeah you are right how you supposed to know that..so what are you gonna do now" she said

I said to her; that's why I call you give me some advice. she replied : I think you should accept his offer and try to annoyed him so he could fired you.. that the best advice for you

" ahmmm annoyed him that the best work I do well.. maybe is she right.. I should accept his offer " I thought in my mind

I said to emily "that you are right I should accept his offer and thank you for your advice & I love you so much."she said good night to me and hung up the call

I put the phone down and lay down on the bed and fall asleep.

The next morning, I wake up late so I take a quick shower and opened the closet and put it on some black tights and a black crop t shirt, I styled my hairs in cozy bun and just grab my bag & runs towards my car..

I reached at cafe and went inside

ellie was waiting for me..

" you are late again" ellie said

" sorry ellie I woke up late that's why I'm late" I said

" just get changed and help me out" she said

I rushed towards the locker room and quickly get changed and went to help ellie..

After a while ellie and I got tired so,we took a 10 minutes break.. we both sat on the corner table.

" Lara why you look so stressed" ellie asked me

" don't asked me I'm tired of talking about him" I said in a fustrated way

she lift up her brow and said

" who is he?

I said to her, James walter he was my x boss.. kinda of... ellie eyes opened wide and her mouth drops

I said" what happened?.. she replied" James walter, the handsome, charming James walter is your boss..

I grab a cookie from plate and took a bite and said

" Don't go on his handsome and charming face, behind his face is a monster you don't know about him"

My phone starts buzzing... I pull my phone out the pocket and saw an unknown number.. I picked the call and said

" Hello who is this"

" So you think I'm a monster" James said on the other side of call

My heart skip a beat. I put my hand on the phone and whisper ellie.." it's James how he knows what am I talking about..

Ellie shrugged and I put phone back on the ear and said

" Mr James.. no I didn't think that"

he replied

" you are a bad lier Lara you know that"

I quickly get up from the chair and starts looking around and said, where are you he said , turn around..

I turn around and saw James was sitting behind me. I was shocked

" oh f**k what is he doing here.. I thought

I grab ellie hand and whisper " Don't leave me alone with him... ellie smiled and okay

we both sat on opposite of james.. I clear my throat and said

" Mr James what are you doing here are you stalking me and how you know I'm here"

ellie starts poking me from side I whisper into ear.. what? she said.." introduce me to Mr walter I'm crazy about him please..

I said ; No just keep quiet

I gave James a awkward smile....

James said" are you not gonna introduce me to your friend "

I clear my throat and said" yeah sure Mr James this is ellie and ellie this is Mr James"

" Can I take a picture with you" ellie said to James. I glare at her and James said yeah sure.. ellie gave me a phone and said " lara please take a picture of us"

James eyes were on me so I gave her smile and said yeah sure..

ellie and James stand up from chair ellie stand next to James and I take a picture of them. Ellie said thank you to James and went to show the picture to marry...

I said" what are you doing here"

he smiled and said" nothing just here to drink coffee with you"

I gave him suspicious look as am about say something my gaze stop on marry.she is coming towards us

" oh f**k not again please God" I thought

marry come to our table and gave us a coffee and said to James

" God will help you. I know it's been so hard for you but believe in God he will help you sooner or later"

James gave me a confused look. I shrugged and said please help me in low tone

" Thank you and please pray for me" James said to marry
