Karina's POV
I think it would have been better for the both of us if I had stayed home and missed the gala dinner because I don't think I can take the gawking anymore. Everyone has their eyes on me and I feel nervous.
I am glad that I have Nana and Thomas with me because I don't know what I would have done if they were not here to be by my side seeing that everyone is already against me.
I didn't expect a warm welcome from Brandon's parents but I also didn't think that his mother would be such a b**** about it. She has tried at every chance to make me feel unwelcome and she was starting to get to me.
As if telling me that I had to return the tiara back to Nana was not enough earlier on, she has now thought it would be best if she told me that I wasn't good enough for her son.
