I guess the doctors meant it that I would make a quick recovery, he assured me that as soon as I had my full strength, I will be able to get back on my feet, the bullet didn't cause any permanent damage and I believe him.
Everyday I keep on getting better and better. I have to wear a back supporting belt but atleast I am not on the wheelchair anymore. I am using crutches and the thing I most happy about is that I can now get out of bed on my own.
I have had to learn to do things on my own because I wanted to get back on my feet, I pushed myself and now I am ready to be independent again, maybe then my husband would lighten up and start spending more time at home.
