I have had the most wonderful week in Italy with my son. To hear him call me dad just feels my heart with love. I never thought that I could ever love someone this much. I have missed so much of his life, I knew that I couldn't live without any longer.
The Nanny has also been helping me in keeping up with him. He sure has a lot of energy. I have never ran after someone as much as I have after this little boy. He is a sweet boy but he is also still a young and energetic child.
The nanny said that I should learn to be his parent and not his friend, she said that I have to put my foot down, at this point I even feel like I am over compensating a bit. I also feel like I am justified because I wasn't there for him in six years.
I don't know how mother managed to live with hers
