Brandon's POV
I look at my beautiful wife as she talks to my father in the garden. In the few days that we have been here I have seen a huge change in the both of them but mostly my wife. She actually seems happy to be here.
I guess my mother's absence has been a blessing in disguise. I don't even know why I felt sorry for her. My father was right that people like her do not deserve second chances because she doesn't.
I don't know who that woman is but I no longer see her as my mother. Right now she is just a woman who gave birth to me and broke my heart. I can see that she is beyond help and that being locked up in a mental institution is the only way.
