The Beast I Married.

The spark.

Turning back to stare at the familiar voice she was met with someone she so much never wants to see again.

She heaved a huge sigh and turned to enter the car as all the memories of that day came to her, but Tracy walked closer to our car and held her hand preventing her from closing the door.

“What do you want from me?” she suddenly screamed and Kai held her hand and stroked it. Tears rolled out of her eyes as she watched his hands on hers.

She held onto her hand and Ashley pulled it away from her forcefully.

“I know you can never forgive me for everything I've done, but I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for how I've wronged you, it wasn't in my intention to do so” Tears welled up in her eyes as she pleaded with Ashley.

“Oh really? It wasn't in your intention?” she questioned and sniffed.

“How many times have I left you all by yourself? How many times have I neglected you to make decisions by yourself? Was I not there for you, since we were young?” her eyes held pain as she yelled those words to her.

“You disgust me, Tracy. Go away” she whispered calmly yet deadly and Tracy shook her head while Kai just sat there and watched the scene

“Look at me, Ashley, look” her words trembled out of her mouth and Ashley shot her a dagger stare.

“I'm sorry I've never been the kind of friend you expected me to be, but I need you to trust me” She muttered calmly, and Ashley scoffed.

“Trust you? Do you think I should trust you? What else has trusting you brought to me? Pain” she yelled and the least expected time and Tracy flinch.

Taking a few steps backward, Ashley closed the door and instructed Kai to drive out of the restaurant.

She placed her head on the seater while Kai still stroked her hands, and tears rolled out of her eyes.

Does she never remember being a bad person? Why on earth does she have to be hurt this way?

“You should forgive her, you know?” his words jolted her out of her thought and she shot him a dagger stare

“ I will never do such a thing, her words were calm but you could read the determination in her voice.

“Why won't you?” he tried not to sound too rude.

“Because she left me when I needed her the most” her voice were cracked as sob racked through her throat.

“It's normal to get betrayed by the people we love, but the most intriguing thing is for us to be able to forgive them the moment they realize their sins.” his words were so calm and it was enough to tuck her out of her angry state, but she was too stubborn and determined to do whatever.

“ I don't care if she is sorry, I no longer need her in my life.”

“We never can tell who we need baby girl, you might need her one day.”

Her mood brightened up as he called her baby girl for the first time. Calling

her that name gave her a different feeling of light.

She never expected that from him.

Her heart flutters as she traveled down memory lane to recall how her body sparked for the first when he touched her in the restaurant. And now he just called her baby girl.

They will make her a great couple, she whispered in her mind and a different feeling of happiness filled her body but it suddenly vanished when she remembered that her heart never skips when she think about the s*x they had.

Will she ever feel that spark

“Are you okay baby girl?” his words broke the silence and she nodded with a smile on her face.

“You should think of forgiving her” he suggested again and she sighed and nodded slightly, earning a peck from him

The rest of the ride home was quiet.

The next day.

It was the next morning and Asley was in the garden, holding a book in her hand, she stood closer to her favorite flower and played with it, and she suddenly felt a hand wrapped around her wrist.

She smiled childishly to herself but her smiles suddenly vanished when she heard Rex's voice instead of Kai's.

“ I will not let anyone take you away from me,” he whispered into her ears, and she felt the spark in her heart and her kneel went numb immediately.

Yes, it was the spark. The spark no one else can ever bring to her.
