His penetrating gaze makes me freeze in my place for a second , but Joshua's voice snaps me out of my reverie.

I quickly approach the bar and see the sorry state that Joshua is in , his eyes are red and sleepy , he is not able to articulate any words well , and he sways on the bench almost about to fall , so I quickly put his arm around my neck , but he is too big and heavy for me, so his weight begins to crush me.
When I feel like I can't take it anymore , a strong hand rests on my waist and takes Joshua off me.
" It’s okay , I got him " Tom whispers in my ear and I feel goosebumps that form from my neck , down my arms , and end with a strange sensation in my core.
