What if?

A boy named Nick has been living his life being in love with his child hood friend named Michael. He was never ashamed to tell the universe that he was in love with a boy. Nick was orphaned when he was 10 years old. His father died when he was 5 years old and at the age of 10 he was orphaned. His mother died of suicide. None of his relatives came to mourn and took care of him so the authorities had to put him in an orphanage. At the age of ten, Nick had become a lonely boy seeing as he had no one to talk to and the kids in the orphanage treated him badly. Everyday he was bullied, but he can’t say a word to tell the authorities because he was scared. Nick thought that his life was unfair. After being beaten by the other orphans in the orphanage, he escaped and went to the same place where his mother would take him in her leisure time; the playground. He sat on the grass and caressed it; reminiscing his time when his father and mother were both still alive. He wept with loneliness and anger because of unfairness. Somebody tapped his head; he was shocked. He turned around and saw a boy. The boy introduced himself as Michael and told him to stop crying because he’s here now. Nick smiled gently, for the first time after the death of her mother. After then, Nick and his friend Michael would always meet up at the playground to play and talk. Michael told his parents about the situation of his friend, Nick. He wanted his parents to also take care of Nick because he pitied him. Gladly his parents did so; as a result, they soon became brothers. After six years of living together as a family and best friends, Nick couldn’t put away the fact that the more he got to know Michael the more that his feelings are growing for him. Nick started to like Michael, and without even thinking, he confessed to his brother. After that, everything went different. What if Nick didn’t confess? What if his parents never died? What if he hadn’t liked Michael? Would everything stay in place? What if?
