“I need to use the restroom,” Beth whispered to me as soon as we finished our meeting with Mr. Benson. “Go ahead then,” I whispered back and then looked back at Mr. Benson, who was now looking at us with an amusing smirk on his face. I didn’t show any reaction to him and kept a straight face. Bethany then excused herself in a polite tone and walked away. She was sitting on the other side of Ariel. I was not happy with her sitting away from me, but she was right. I needed Ariel to assist me during the meeting, and that was why she needed to sit beside me instead of Beth. Bishop, who was sitting at the other table with Stephen, immediately stood up and followed her.
