I felt sorry for Dr. Stanton’s sad backstory. No one deserved that kind of loneliness in their lives. Surrounded by family and friends, yet not welcomed or loved at all. Despite the disputes in the beginning, I was glad to see him paired with that vampire woman. She was the stronger one in that relationship, she’d do anything to make him happy.
But what made me happy about their love, made me also wary of his relatives. Not just the aunt, who was a total shock to everyone but also the family he left in his old pack. They were determined to make him follow a certain path in his life. I wouldn’t cross them off the suspect’s list yet.
