Gwendolyn's POV I never knew that being my father’s assistant would be so exhausting, time-consuming, and most importantly, boring. My father, as second in command to our President, dealt with all the issues that our President was not able to solve due to not having enough time for everything. They split their responsibilities between them, so no case was left behind. After witnessing a lot of exciting cases my father handled, I wanted to do the same. I knew I was not going to be the next second in command, but at least I could apply to be his assistant and taste the thrill of being in the middle of some mess to clean up.
