I still couldn’t believe Amy was mine. The moment I dropped her at her bedroom’s door as at least one fourth of our pack decided to stroll all over the Beta’s floor for an unknown reason was beyond me.
But that was an irrelevant episode in my current life. I was so happy at finding my happiness in Amy that anything occurring around me was not important. Whatever happened after the moment she locked her door but not before giving me a sweet ‘good-bye kiss’ was unimportant. I strolled down the corridor to reach the stairs to the Alpha’s office for my talk with Blake, so absorbed in my happiness that I totally ignored everyone on my way.
