Chapter Twenty-Six. Cal. “Just hold them steady,” Ben instructs me as I stand holding onto the two sides of the wardrobe, from the front, as he places the top onto the currently flimsy structure. Both sets of drawers are finished, and placed where Mable wants them, and Ben reckons it will only take half an hour more to finish the wardrobe.
