Sleep is always more problematic during the day, never more so when you are due for your first night shift in T-minus five hours. Add to that, it is the first night, well not night, but sleep time, but you get my drift, I have had in days without Cal beside me, and to say I missed his presence next to me would be an understatement.
I had dropped Marni off to Mel’s at ten this morning, Cal had offered to watch her for my four nights, but I refused.
