Astrid's POV
They were able to put the fire out quickly, and only when the last ember had died away was I finally allowed to go over and see what it looked like. Turns out the fire had started in a storage room and would have probably spread over to the rest of the pack house given something had not been done about it quickly.
"Good thing my brothers went to take care of it before it became a bigger issue," Brie said as she stood right next to me, I nodded in agreement but inside of me there was something that didn't fit quite right, a piece of a puzzle that wasn't sliding right into place.
"Doesn't it seem strange?" I couldn't keep it to myself for much longer anyways and I was worried about bringing it to the triplet alphas and adding more to their plates that might not even be worth
