As much as I wanted to kill him as quickly and as quietly as possible, I would have to be patient and smart about it unless I wanted them to suspect me immediately.
While he was eating, I watched him gauging his reaction as he wolfed down the food to see if there was any kind of recognition in his eyes when he saw me.
Seeing him like this, living just like an animal, there was a shadow of guilt in my mind but it was quickly overshadowed by what I had to do.
Sure he was more or less an innocent bystander and I had no personal grievances against him. But it was his fault that he just happened to be at the wrong place and at the wrong time.
