My body froze, and he moved closer to me. I closed my eyes shut as I waited for him to touch me. But a few seconds passed, and he didn't do anything.
I turned to look at him. But then I realized he was talking to the receptionist.
"Oh please, Mr Luke, the lady here has an appointment with Mr Aiden. Since you are headed to the office, you could go the same way with her," She said as she glanced over at him.
"Yeah. I wouldn't mind," he said before he placed the phone back on his ear, and he chuckled as he spoke. It seems it was the person he mentioned my name to.
