Caspian was quiet the whole ride back to the palace which only added to the confusion on what he had to do with the disappearance of both princes and what they meant about finding their mates.
Ian disregarded the subject and somehow pretended that he was still our guard as we entered the car, I’m assuming that he didn’t want to cause any suspicion to the driver who was driving us back to the palace and neither me nor Rolan asked about it.
We arrived at the palace and were met by the king and queen who had smiles on their faces as they waited for us by the door, Prince Marcel wasn’t with them though we could tell that they were happy that we were back and safe.
