Charles knocked on Rosie's door repeatedly, no answer from inside. It's almost eight o'clock at night, since this morning Rosie hasn't come out of her room and hasn't touched any food, this makes Charles anxious.
Unfortunately Charles did not have a duplicate of Rosie's room key because Charles had never used the room before. Charles kept on knocking and even shouting for Rosie.
"Rosie, get out of the room. You haven't touched your food yet."
"Rosie!"
"Rosie get out or I'll break the damn door!" growled Charles but there was no welcome from inside.
Feeling neglected, Charles took a few steps back from the door then with extra strength he began to break down Rosie's bedroom door. The door opened and Charles quickly entered the room.
Very dark and cold. The wind blew from the open balcony door. Rosie was seen lying on the bed with the blanket rolled up.
Charles turned on the light and headed for the balcony door to close it then walked over to Rosie. The woman looked pale and broke out in cold sweat, Charles who saw that was made worried.
Charles immediately opened the blanket that had rolled up Rosie's body and pulled Rosie into his arms. Rosie's body felt hot and cold sweat was pouring down her temples. Charles fingered his pocket for a flat object and dialed his personal doctor.
"Hello, I want you to come to my house immediately." After saying that Charles immediately ended the call, without waiting for an answer that was not important to him.
Charles shook Rosie lightly, trying to wake her up. "Rosie, wake up."
"Rosie," Charles called again.
Finally Rosie's eyes opened slightly, her hands raised as if to reach for something. "David, is that you?" Rosie muttered weakly.
Charles growled a little, but he held it in, after all Rosie was sick and unconscious now, angry that it was so unethical now.
"Be patient Rosie, the doctor will be here in a minute."
It didn't take long, the doctor finally came out of breath. It was absolute law that if D'ramio needed something and immediately then, that meant that minute and that second you had to be there, otherwise you would quickly say goodbye to your family.
"Hurry up here!" Charles was angry at the doctor who was even now catching his breath.
"What's wrong with my woman?" asked Charles and the doctor started to examine Rosie, he took some medical devices from his carry-on bag. After feeling enough to examine Rosie, the doctor immediately assembled his medical device.
"Don't worry, it's just an ulcer and a fever. He must eat regularly so that his ulcer doesn't recur, I'll give you the medicine," explained the doctor to which Charles nodded.
After that the doctor took the medicine out of his bag and put it in the nightstand drawer. The doctor immediately said goodbye to Charles who gave a small nod.
After the doctor left the house, Charles immediately ordered his servant to make porridge for Rosie. Charles walked slowly because it was dark in Rosie's room, the reason Charles didn't turn on the light so Rosie could rest comfortably.
Charles took a seat on the empty side of Rosie's bed, his hand resting on Rosie's forehead. Still hot, Charles thought for a moment what he would do next if Rosie kept asking David and making her hurt herself when in fact David was in the detention center of his enemies or what he often called crazy quarantine because it was full of crazy people where they were. can kill each other.
If he had told Rosie the truth it would have sounded cruel but it wasn't, because David had a special place for himself. You could say David was a VVIP prisoner there because he got all the facilities.
Actually Charles didn't want to separate Rosie from David. However, there was something Charles knew about David and Charles also knew that Rosie didn't even know what her brother had been keeping secret.
Everyone can be savage for someone he loves and because of that Charles knows why David is like that, to protect Rosie.
In Charles' daydream. Rosie had been awake all this time and even looked at Charles' face, which somehow looked handsome even in a dark place. Honestly, if Charles was nice and sweet Rosie would definitely fall for him but, unfortunately Charles didn't.
There was a knock on Rosie's bedroom door, Charles immediately went to the door and opened it and took the tray from the waiter's hand, it did not escape Rosie's vision.
Charles without saying thank you to the maid, just closed the door and walked over to Rosie. Rosie immediately closed her eyes pretending she was still asleep but the funny thing was that her eyeballs moved and when Charles Turning on the small lamp on the nightstand, he could see it.
The corners of Charles' lips lifted, followed by a small chuckle that invited Rosie to open her eyes slightly.
Rosie opened her eyes a little wider as she couldn't see what was going on with Charles.
"Boo!"
"Ah!"
"Pretend to sleep, huh?" Charles teased with an alluring smile.
Rosie with an annoyed face immediately sat up from her lying position and leaned back on her bed.
"Don't startle me like that, my heart almost stopped," Rosie grunted hoarsely to which Charles laughed back.
Charles fetched a drink for Rosie which the woman immediately drank. Rosie looked a little calmer than when she found him. Charles was relieved at that.
"Do you have a rare personality, Charles?" Rosie asked with a big question mark on Charles' expression.
"Weren't you mad at me this morning, then why do you care now?" he continued which made Charles confused and realize why he cared so much for Rosie.
One answer popped into Charles' head and that was all there was.
"Because you're my future wife," Charles replied firmly.
While Rosie who was listening to that just held her breath. Charles always answered confidently. Did Charles really intend to marry her?
"I won't," said Rosie, looking down.
Charles was starting to dislike her, his face hardening. "Of course I will and soon," replied Charles.
Rosie raised her head to look into Charles' eyes. "I want to marry someone I love. And that's not you, Charles."
There was a moment of silence, Charles looked at something other than Rosie, but his hands were clenched so tightly that the veins looked like they were about to pop out and his fingernails looked white.
"You know Rosie, the thing I love about you is that you're too rebellious, and I don't like rebellious women," Charles hissed sharply.
"What do I care."
"Of course you have to care about that, because soon we will be married. And! When that time comes I'll make sure you can't rebel anymore, Rosie," Charles said deeply and sharply.
Rosie swallowed hard, actually she was afraid but if she just obeyed of course it wouldn't change anything. It's better like this than to die surrendered to a lion.
"Eat this," said Charles and he left Rosie.
After Charles left, Rosie breathed a sigh of relief. The aura just now was terrifying and it wasn't comfortable at all.
"You're just scaring me, Charl," Rosie muttered subconsciously.
