  _Calden’s POV_   I didn't let them go back in there without getting rid of those photos.   I stopped Daniel and the rest also paused, turning to look at me.   I looked at him, keeping my voice calm and steady. The night air was cool against my skin, but I could feel the heat building inside me.   “Delete those photos, please.” I repeated hopefully.   “Why should I?” Daniel raised his chin defiantly, like a stubborn child refusing to clean his room.   I knew I had no legitimate reason to make this demand. But I had to try something.   “Consider this a favor,” I said, my voice low and controlled. “I’ll owe you one.”   A favor from the Ashmoors carried considerable weight in our world. Most people would jump at the chance. But not Daniel.   He snorted out a laugh. “Like I care.”
