Early in the dark morning, while this part of the world was still asleep, Ren went to his rendezvous with Rhys well-prepared. In a small bag, he had brought along everything he would need for the day ahead, intending to pretend he had gotten ready early by the time the others went down for breakfast. True, he didn’t think he’d really be able to fool anyone, but still. Hours before the usual time he did so, he had also taken his suppressant for the day. Some thirty minutes after all of his other preparations were done, this fact was what had emboldened Ren into reaching for the back of Rhys’ head as soon as the man opened his door for him. Even before the door had closed again, they were already kissing like it hadn’t only been a full day since their lips were last pressed together.
