She reached a hand up to touch his cheek, knowing her cheeks were fiery red, “It’s nothing fancy.” “Utter perfection,” he corrected. He lazily trailed his knuckles along her breastbone and watched as she shuddered from his touch. “I want you,” he lifted her hand from his cheek and pressed it below his waist. “Never doubt how much I want you.” When she smiled at him, he gave an exaggerated sigh, “and your smile, the one which lights up the entire room. Who needs moonlight or candles when the smile from you is a beacon to me?” His poetic words would have been cheesy from anyone else yet as he spoke to her, a promise in the air of his unending adoration, she felt priceless. She was reminded he had said he hadn’t known how to talk to her yet the words coming from him now were sweet, honest,
