When I wake up, Gabriel is still fast asleep. The sun is shining through the curtains that we forgot to close when we came rushing in yesterday. He looks absolutely breathtaking and if it wasn’t for how perfect Gwen looked with Gareth, I would’ve asked her what the hell was wrong with HER that she left him. All I can do now is thank her for leaving him, because if she hadn’t, he wouldn’t have had a reason to be in Vegas while I was and I never would’ve had the chance to meet the man of my dreams.
I consider waking him up, but then decide to give him some time to sleep when my stomach growls, reminding me that neither of us had any dinner or lunch yesterday. If I am starving, Gabriel will be one foot in the grave by the time he wakes up.
