It felt like I had been sleeping for almost a week when I woke up. I had a splitting headache, and my toes were extremely itchy. This was something that often happened to me if I had spent a long time in cold temperatures. For a minute after I woke up, I couldn’t remember just how I had ended up in this situation and what was happening.
