I couldn’t believe that we were now being summoned to the palace all because of Damien’s stupidity. I don’t even know why I was being called to attend this meeting with him. If they had seen him they should have notices that I wasn’t with him. I couldn’t understand why I was now being punished for something that I literally had nothing to do with. I felt like I was being punished for a crime that I had never committed.
The worst part of it all was the fact that I was pregnant, heavily pregnant for that matter. All this was something that Damien chose to not consider. He had intentionally chosen to not pay attention to the fact that his action were placing me and how unborn child in danger, a child that he seemed to want so badly.
