I could see that Victoria was nervous as we got into the yacht and made our way to the wolf kingdom. I can’t say that I faulted her in the way she was feeling but I was here to make sure nothing happened to her. I knew that alone, I wouldn’t be able to stop James if he decided to attack her but I was confident that I could out smart him.
All Victoria had to do was act like my mate and just follow my lead. I had been worried that she would have a hard time following my lead because she wasn’t following anyone’s lead. She was used to being the one in charge and calling the shots and now I was telling her to take the back seat. She understood why things had to go thus was because she also wanted to make sure our plan worked without any problems.
