It was hard for me to forgive Damien for what he had done to me because I felt like I was going easy on him, and I was condoning his disgusting behavior. I was still a little hurt and disappointed by the fact that he had invited James to his party without informing me. However, I had to be honest with myself. The rogue kingdom didn’t belong to me, and I didn’t have the right to detect to him how to run things around here. The only thing I could do was to let him know that I didn’t appreciate the way he handled things.
I had forgiven him indeed because I realized that his heart wasn’t in the right place and he was just trying to help. What he had done was inconsiderate, but I had to face James at some point, and at least facing him now showed me that he didn’t even remember
