I couldn't believe that I was being punished for being a nice guy, all I had been trying to do was to help Amber but I was shocked by the way she had reacted when she discovered that I had met with her father. I could understand that she was abused by him but it wasn’t like I had called him for a social visit, it wasn't like I was trying to be friends with him. Jeff was the one who made me call alpha Robert for a meeting because he said that Amber was a wanted wolf in his pack. I wanted to make it clear that she was no, longer his responsibility but mine. I wanted him to know that he would have to answer to e if he ever tried anything with her. I didn’t care that he was her father because I was willing to do anything for my mate.
