I let the others know where I was going and left to go and get Amber. She had sounded strange on the phone last night. I was worried that the infertility had caused a rift between her and Adam. It must be pretty bad if she was running off to the Moon River pack instead of staying to work it out. It was such a shame, too. Adam and Amber were such a wonderful couple. The love that I saw between those two was something more than just the mate bond. It was sad to imagine them being ripped apart by the actions of a coward who had snuck around behind their backs.
