Dawn broke, and I gave the signal to attack. The casters began transporting the werewolves inside. I turned and dropped behind a bush so that I would be left behind. If taking down the Moon River pack was going to be as easy as Stokes and Jonas tried to make out, then they wouldn't need me to get it done, would they? I waited there until everyone was inside the pack. I heard screams fill the air as they began their attack. Then I got up, shifted, and ran in the opposite direction. The sounds of fighting began to fade into the distance, but I just kept going. I wasn't running away like a coward, or aimlessly. I had a plan. I was going to get some help of my own.
