Awaking that next morning to find the smell of fresh bacon omitting throughout the area, Juliette pulled herself from the comfort of her bed and slid on her robe before descending the grand staircase that led to her foyer. Before she had been able to acquire a crisp piece of breakfast, she was left with her curiosity acting as her current force of motion, while finding a white box present with a red ribbon upon her main table. Motioning for one of her men to address the origin of the box, he explained that a postal worker brought it early in the morning. Watching him open the package by using a pocket knife, the box came open to reveal a dead rat with a message written in red ink to imitate blood set upon a small piece of paper.
