The gun remained in his direction as Dimitri looked to her with pain behind his eyes and an arrogant smirk on the corner of his mouth.
"Before you say anything." She began, as she pulled herself towards the side of the car and leaned upon the door to gain a full view of him. "Tell me why you had me go back to a car that was rigged to explode."
He was taken back by her insinuation and even hurt in her having thought he could have wanted her dead. However, instead of growing angry, he pulled the weapon to his forehead.
