WALKING INTO THE TOWN square, the eclectic stores and restaurants looked fascinating. She took a seat at one of the restaurants and ordered her favorite tea. When it arrived, the waitress looked at her for a moment. “Are you new to town?” She smiled kindly. “Just passing through. It’s a beautiful place.” Clementine breathed in the fresh ocean air. “We try our best. Enjoy your tea.” The girl smiled and disappeared into the kitchen. She looked out at the beach, and it all looked so picture-perfect. She could understand why the pack would turn this into their private paradise. Taking a deep breath, she finished her tea and wondered what to do next. How was she going to find Riley? How would she know if he was still alive? “Do you want anything else?” The waitress appeared out of nowhere.
