Moon left Sarah at the front door with a hug before she disappeared. The door flew open and Luc grabbed hold of Sarah.
“Don’t ever do that again! We saw you burst into flames, and then you were gone! My heart wouldn’t survive losing you!” He pulled back a little, looking into her eyes.
“Moon took me. If I had stayed, I would have been the one who burned down the house. I’m sorry I scared you.” Sarah rubbed the tears from her cheeks. Ruby came running out the door and grabbed Sarah around her leg, nearly cutting off her circulation.
