As I hand in my last exam, I'm both happy and filled with dread. I wish I realized that our papa had planned to marry us off because I would never have tried to complete my studies early. I'm happy to finally be finished with my schooling but dreading what that means when it comes to Giovanni Romano.
Since that night in the garden, I've seen him only a few times when he has met with Papa, but otherwise he has kept his distance.
