CAELAN Hours Ago.. I slowly opened my eyes, groggily taking in my surroundings. I was lying in the open field, my head throbbing with pain. I tried to sit up, but a wave of agony washed over me, making me grit my teeth. All my bones felt broken, my body screaming in protest as I moved. I grunted, trying to glow my eyes, but instead, I let out a roar of pain. My body was still trying to heal from the impact, and it was taking its sweet time. As I looked around, I saw that I was about 50 feet away from the healers' quarters. Thankfully, I hadn't been hit too far, or I might have been in even worse shape. I gritted my teeth, forcing myself to sit up despite the pain. My body was already starting to heal, but it was a slow process. I could feel my bones knitting themselves back together,
