My legs were shaking. Scratch that. My entire body was shaking with fear. The look on Mrs Smith faces as she uttered those words made me still. If I had a mirror in front of me I could exactly understand how pale I looked. The tea was still in the tray as I refused to move from the current position. The silence around us was like clouds on a rainy day. Mrs Smith's eyes, dark and huge baby browns made my toes curl in fear. Everything about her suddenly seemed scarier than before.
