See you at lunch my a*s.
It's almost 10 minutes for the bell and he still hasn’t come. That brunette Rowena was also missing. I was left behind to sit with the rest of the group who for some reason was really silent.
They used to be very noisy and messy but now they are silently sitting in their seats occasionally glancing at each other.
Hell, the whole lunch hall was silent. There were a few frightening faces and I noticed many were missing in my classes.
Most of them were humans and when I asked one of Luan's friends about the absentees he said it's because the parents were frightened to send the kids to school.
At times I could hear them let out a low growl but I knew it was because I have sharp spirit ears. The growl is so low for humans to hear.
