(Amara POV) I groaned as I pulled the sheets up to my head. "Your highness please opens the door," Mrs. Milet said as she kept knocking. "I am up I am up!" I shouted as I glared at the door. The sun is not even up and they want me to get up! "Your highness opens the door so I can get your dress," she said as I got out of the bed. I opened the door for her before walking to my bed. "Oh no no," she said as she snapped her hands. The power restrains me from moving closer to the bed. "You need to train early." "Why" I groaned as I sat on the floor groaning. "Because you have to assist the Azurians on their mission during the day." He said as I lay on the floor looking up at the ceiling. "Don’t remind me" I really don’t want to be anywhere nears my asshole of a mate. After the meeting, I was asked to assist them in the room. You want to know why? Well because they will stay in the royal suites next to me so I will be able to assist them when needed. "I have prepared the bath," she said as she got out from the bathroom. "You know I can do that on my own" I mumbled getting up. She hummed as she went to the closet took a bunch of clothes. "I know but you are royalty so you should get used to it" "I like to be more independent. It was one of the reasons I didn’t want to be the queen" I said as I got out and walked to the bathroom. I took a quick bath and got out in a robe. I looked at the training clothes laid down in my bed. Mrs. Milet was nowhere to be found. Maybe I was being a bit too harsh on her. It's not her fault. I saw a note on the side of the dress. 'I will go and prepare the rest.  I picked your earth clothes since you will be more comfortable in them. You need to be at your most comfortable to battle. All the best for your training.' I quickly changed to the dress and tied my hair to a side French braid before walking out of the room. On the way, I entered the royal kitchen making everyone stop in their track. "Wow, you all are wide awake this early?" I commented as they stared at me. "Umm yes, your highness. We needed to prepare breakfast" one of the chefs said as I nodded and made way to the fridge. I took out a bottle of milk and coffee powder I brought from earth. "Your highness, we can make it for you" "No, it's ok. You guys continue" I said as I started to make my coffee. I can't go forth without a coffee and I am pretty sure these people don’t know how to make it. "What are you doing here?" a familiar voice came as I pour the coffee into my mug. "Making coffee," I said as I took a sip and looked at Mrs. Milet. She had a frown on her face. "Why didn’t you make them do it?" "It's ok, Mrs. Milet. I am sure they don’t know how to make coffee" I said as the rest of the chefs put their heads down. "Oh no. don’t be sad! It's more than fine. I am perfectly capable of making them so chill" I smiled as I made my way to the training ground. "Hello!" I smiled and waved as I walked to the training field. I looked to my left and saw the Azurians were there as well. They were really strong and fast as they battled each other. "Good morning, Amy" Ceil smiled walking to me. "I don’t say morning until I see the sunlight" I grumbled as he laughed. "Father's order," he said as I rolled my eyes. "Good morning, your highness!" a voice came as I looked at Zamil. By now the Azurians stopped fighting. They all gathered together and were now looking at us. "Heyo" I waved at him. The rest also said their greetings. Well, all but one. "Hello to you Soren" I smiled at him. He raised one of his eyebrows and scanned me completely. "What are you wearing," he asked and this time I raised my eyebrow. "Can't you see? Three forth pants and tank top" I smiled sarcastically. He stared at me for a few seconds before looking away. "Whatever" The Azurians looked at him surprised. "Um ok," Ceil said as I looked at him. "Let's start?" he asked as I nodded. My eyes went to Soren who sat on a bench and drank water. He looked at me for a few seconds before averting his eyes. I ground my teeth and looked at Ceil. 'Ok let's get this over with" "Battle between Warrior lord Ceil Lightstorm and Your highness Amara Morrigan Quarters" I was feeling anger throughout my body. My wolf was growling at how our mate was behaving. He was not acknowledging us as his mate. "Begin!" the battle warrior growled. I quickly summoned my sword and charged at Ceil. I was really in a mood to fight. I wanted to vent my anger but I need to be careful not to hurt Ceil. He dodged my sword and tried to hit me by my shoulder. But I was quick as I counterattacked it. 'We should shout out to everyone that we are mate! Maybe then he will acknowledge us!' my wolf, Atarah, shouted inside my head as I growl. 'No way. He should tell it himself!' I hit Ceil by his shoulder and he stumbled back before attacking me. My eyes at that time glanced at Soren. His void eyes were directly on me. I asked and looked at Ceil before dodging his attack but couldn’t escape his next move. He used his leg and hit me by my left thigh. I yelped in surprise and fell to the ground. His hand gripped on the hand having my sword while his sword was held up my throat. "I win" he grinned and moved back making me sigh. I just lay on the ground frustrated and tired. 'We did our best' Atarah said. 'We lost in front of him' I growled inside my head. Now his ego will be much bigger. 'It's his fault we lost' she huffed as I agreed. "You ok?" Eir said as she sat next to me. "Yea I am" I smiled as she helped me sit up. "Let me help you with that," she said as she took my hand. The palm was wounded and blooded. She closed her eyes and murmured something and it surprisingly started to heal. "Oh yea you’re a healer as well," I said as she smiled. "Not necessarily. It's my secondary power. I can heal small wounds and sickness but it will take a huge part of my energy" she said as the others walked to me. "And you should not use it on unnecessary things," Soren said as my head whipped to him. "Soren!" Eir shouted in shock. "Soren, that was really rude," Zamil said. So I am an unnecessary thing for him? "What the f**k is wrong with you?" I growled at him before standing up. I glared at the man pure anger filling me up. He still was looking at me void. "You are so childish and arrogant. Easily distracted and walks around like a brat. Do you know how long the maid had to knock and shout through your door to wake you up? And how undisciplined you are when you are greeting a guest? Ho-" he stopped as he saw my condition. For a moment I saw how sad and heartbroken he is but it was once again covered by his void face. "Soren, what the hell is wrong with you!" Tyr, the blonde Azurian growled before walking to me. "Don’t mind him ok. He is an asshole always saying things without a care in the world." The guy said as I looked away. I look so weak crying. But I couldn’t stop my tears from falling. He is so damn cruel. How can he say something like that? "f**k you" I shouted glaring at him with pure hatred. "Let's practice tomorrow," I said before I turned and walked to the castle. "Hey! I am coming too" Ceil voiced but I didn’t slow my pace. He ran to me and once he reached next to me he started to walk. He kept looking at me worried. I know he wanted to talk. "I am alright, Ceil. Call me when it is time for mission" I said as I paused and looked at him. "For now I want to be alone" With that I made way to my room and fell on the bed, crying and cursing the man I grew to hate the most.
