(Amara POV)
I groaned as I felt pain in my stomach. I felt like my gut was twisted and I wanted to vomit again.
"Amara!" mom's voice rose as I weakly opened my eyes.
"Mom?"
She looked at me in worried, running her hands through my tangled hair.
"I am so glad you are awake"
"What happened?" I asked as I looked around the room. I was in the hospital.
"You fainted at the ball. We are at the spirit palace infirmary. They gave to pain killers to ease the pain" she paused and looked at me. Her expression suddenly changed to a void one. "Why didn't you tell us you are in pain? You even lied to the doctor"
