I stirred to Cai's side to hug her, but all I could hold was a cold mattress. I searched the bathroom to check, but she was not there either.
"Where are you, Cai?" I asked her on the mind link, but it was not getting through, so I rushed out of the room to look for her after wearing my clothes, and I made a mental note to train Cai on how to use her mind link properly.
The first place that came into my mind to look at was the garden.
"Have you seen Cai?" I asked the guys who were sitting on the back porch.
