OLIVER'S POV
The sound of gunfire made my body stiffened, and when I looked back, I saw Cai and Henry lying on the dirt. I was about to run back to her, but I felt relieved when I saw her moved. I resumed running away from them when I was sure that she was not dead, and most likely, that shot was for me. I know Henry well; he must have done that to stop me from getting away, and I'm positive that Cai saved me from that bullet. That's why they were on the ground. Again Cai saved me, the wussy Oliver.
It's against my will to leave her alone under the hands of Henry, and this is the first time I hated myself so much for being weak! I wish I were born with Alpha blood; in that case, Cai's Alpha voice will not affect me, and I could have protected her from all this s**t! It was unfair
