Amelia The alarm on my phone goes off, waking me from a pleasant dream. I open my eyes and reach for Ezra, only to remember that he isn’t there. Sighing, I look at the empty side of the bed and touch my enormous belly. I have spent the last four months helping my family at the butcher shop while my father recovered from his heart attack. Ezra tried commuting between Aurora and the city to work, but it became too much for him. So, he stays at the penthouse during the week while I stay at my parent’s house. I miss him. Sighing sadly, I struggle to get out of bed as I am almost nine months pregnant. “Come on, guys,” I mutter as the babies seem to be awake now and start to move. I finally stand up and waddle my way out of the room and down the hall to the bathroom. I smell food cooking
