Ezra I am woken up by Amelia talking on the phone. “What are you talking about, Dad?” she asks in a worried tone. Her eyebrows are scrunched up as she speaks. I sit up and listen for a moment. “They can’t just take the business, Dad,” she says and looks at me. “What’s going on?” I ask. “Hold on, Dad,” she says. “Dad says there are guys at the shop saying they now own the building and that he has to vacate,” she explains. I reach for her phone, and she hands it to me, “Drew, it’s Ezra. What’s going on?” “Ezra,” Drew breathes out. “Some guy here says that the building has been bought and that we have to leave,” He explains. I take a deep breath. “Did they say when you had to leave?” “By the end of the month,” Drew responds. “We’ll be right there, Drew,” I tell him. “I’ll fix this.
