THE event began at exactly seven in the evening. There were formal instructions and messages oriented by the organizers before it finally started.
There I finally learned that the main event of this charity party is having the bidding for the auction. Donated paintings, antique objects and artifacts, overseas and domestic vacation packages, all-expenses-paid trips, and many more were the subjects for auction. But the main highlight is the ‘surprise auction’ on the event list.
No one knows what was that about. Everyone is excited to know about it while others are feeling nervous. I am a part of the latter. And for an undetermined reason, I do not like the sound of that ‘surprise auction.’
